A seminar with Joseph M. Pierce, hosted by the Feminist Research Institute and the Institute for American Indian Research

What does it mean to relate to the stars; to reach toward the kinstillatory in good relation? This seminar will take up a forthcoming essay on kinstillatory praxis by Joseph M. Pierce (Cherokee Nation), which draws on the work of Karyn Recollet (Cree), Emily Johnson (Yup'ik), in conjunction with a recent essay by Jodi Byrd (Chickasaw) about queer theory, Indigeneity, and the normative.
